MIT has released fascinating new findings around concrete. Industry, government, and academic leaders looked at life cycle carbon dioxide emissions from concrete, which contributes 5 percent of global carbon dioxide emissions, and talked about ways to reduce that number. The research is intended to give designers the information they need to track projects’ carbon footprints and reduce environmental impacts.
